Embroidery

Embroidery stitches the mark into the fabric with thread, so the decoration is part of the material rather than sitting on top of it. Caps, polo shirts, fleece, bags and outerwear are the usual home for it, and the result holds up to washing and wear.

Small lettering and very fine detail are where embroidery has limits: thread has thickness, so a mark with thin strokes or tiny text is usually simplified before it is stitched.

What to send

  • The garment or cap it will be stitched on
  • Where the mark sits: chest, sleeve, back, cap front or side
